Reflecting

Taking a break from portraits for a day or two. For most of the time that we were in Guatemala we stayed along the Pacific coast on the Base Naval de San Jose - the Guatemalan navy base. The soldiers very kindly cleared out a couple of their barracks for us and their officer's club became our cafeteria. We set up a hospital and clinics in their infirmary and some nearby office buildings. Being from the mostly landlocked midwest, I really enjoyed the proximity to the water and spent the early mornings walking the shore and photographing just about everything I ran across. This shot is a reflection from a rusty old ship on the early morning sea.

I have been totally overwhelmed again lately. Sorry I've been so lousy about commenting on your photos. I do visit every time I have a few free minutes. I hope you all are well and I hope to "see" you more soon.

Thank you for visiting and commenting and sharing your photos! I love this site and all the people that make it so great. Photography is my passion and this is the perfect place for sharing that passion with other people who feel the same way.

Don't forget Silly Tuesday!!!! For more info see Liner's blog.
