Missing You

There are some things in life that just don't make sense. Losing her was one of them.

This is an old favorite photo taken on my first SLR, a Canon AE-1. I decided to try my hand at processing again and spent hours applying different filters, etc. to the scanned image. This is the version I wound up liking the most.

Thank you for visiting and commenting and sharing your photos! I love this site and all the people that make it so great. Photography is my passion and this is the perfect place for sharing that passion with other people who feel the same way.

Very cool processing and a lovely haunting portrait to go with it. Sometimes sense doesn't come into it Willow.Things happen we would not chose but we have to accept it and learn to carry on.

The time you spent really shows. This has such a poignant feel about it. The human hug - reaching through time and spaces we can't comprehend. Hope you can feel the hug of this stranger, willow. It is against the darkness - we learn to truly appreciate the light.

This is a beautiful young woman and child. And I can see the time and love that was spent by you, making this portrait into a work of art. I can only guess there is a sad story attached to the comments and the title. I am sorry I don't know the details, but I can only say whatever this loss is, I am surely here in sympathy with you, as you can see others here are also.
