To the Point

This is one of those images that really appeals to me for no apparent reason. Maybe it's the colors or the soft focus or the single drop of water hanging on at the tip of the leaf. I'm not really sure, but I like it anyway. What do you think?

Incredible!!! there are 2 images in one here:-) the image in the droplet is so delicate and about to disappear for ever as the droplet falls, but we are still left with a wonderful soft image:-)

I think it is everything you said and more, lovely autumn colors, beautiful soft pastel background, and as for the droplet so much detail in it thats its a little world of its own

Nice autumnal colours for this leaf, however, a bit out of focus... especially on the rain drop...

@zOOm: Thanks for your feedback. I see what you mean about the focus, too, but I kind of think that's what I like about it. I have crisper shots, but they just don't have the same appeal to them.

I think it's a winner! The drop of water, the colors and textures of the leaf, and the soft bokeh all blend into one visually appealing shot.

Interesting how the colors in the background mimic the color of the leaf (probably another leaf, eh?). It has a certain flow along the spine of the leaf drawing the eye to the droplet.

Not my favorite of yours, but certainly worthwhile.

this is a lovely shot - something very pleasing about the blue and yellow colours and the gentle curves. the texture of the leaf and lens of the water droplet make it a great shot.
