Devlin is a miniature horse that recently came to Horses Haven.

@Kylie Greenan: Thanks, Kylie. Yes, his eyes are really this color. I did nothing to the image except remove an inconveniently located pile of horse poop in the background. Several of the miniature horses I've seen at the farm have blue eyes like this. Must be part of the breed, I guess.

A top-notch image, willow. Fantastic! Those shadow lines of the fence coming straight down the frame just pull us back into the image. This is a winner. I strongly urge you to submit this to publication. Popular Photography or any equestrian magazine should be thrilled to have print rights.

ooh -- just adorable! i love this shot! so touching -- it reminds me of a time in Iceland were we found some wild horses and fed them... they were shy at first but became friendly very quickly!! beautiful and engaging shot!!
