Chickadee

Just in case you were wondering what his face looked like. Their call sounds like they are saying "Chick-a-dee-dee-dee" and is surpriisngly loud for such a small bird.

@dj.tigersprout: Yes, this series was all taken in my backyard. The birds seem to like it here for some reason - probably because I feed them. I love to watch them and always have my camera handy just in case.

@Monique: Thanks. Actually the tree died a couple of years ago, but I can't bear to cut it down because it makes the perfect spot to hang bird feeders - just outside my window. I'm sure it'll have to go eventually, but for now I love it!
