Ruby-throated Hummingbird

I don't think I've ever seen one of these little guys actually sitting still before. I couldn't really even see him until he turned his head and his brilliant ruby collar shone in the light.

I have been totally overwhelmed again lately. Sorry I've been so lousy about commenting on your photos. I do visit every time I have a few free minutes. I hope you all are well and I hope to "see" you more soon.
